Whilst there is no requirement in the NT for vehicle salespersons to be licensed (whereas most other states do), there is a high risk to consumers if sales people are not aware of the statutory obligations. There are also significant hidden costs to businesses when dealing with consumer complaints which often occur from a lack of training.
